I found in my studies of liberation theology, which is a school of theology of the religon of christainity/catholism, that it emphasizes the christain mission to bring justice to the poor and oppressed particularly thru political activism. One modern day example.. (Black Liberation Theology Dr. Jeremiah Wright of chicago(President Barak Obama's former pastor) related liberation theology to the plight of African american people in america. Some of the principles of liberation theology were used by groups as the black panther party, along with studies of socialism and writings by Che guevara.

I discovered that there are many forms of liberation theology, that was practised over the centuries..it first originated in the 1500's in latin america, it forming as a sect of the roman catholic church. Thru the 20th century it took on may faces,
Dr. James cone started Black liberation theology in 1960..Martin luther king jr practised it thru studying the resistance of Mohatmas ghandi, and using it in the role of the civil rights movement..Malcolm x used islamic liberation theology in resistance against the system, and to better and strengthen the people of color. Marley used the rastafarian religon as a channel of liberation theology for all people, direct from the Almighty.

It came to be a democratic, or christain socialism, with its origins in latin america in the 1500's.
In the years of developing my production label i fell in love with this ideal, due to my passion to see people
set free from forms of oppresion by livelihood, and in the mind. The roots of liberation theology focus on divine justice for the poor,
or oppressed by class. Liberation theology was designed to tear economic, and socialogical walls down. My interpretation, and activism is based in the spirit,
the essense our being. I developed U.L.T Urban Liberation theology. Why? because though my activism is spiritually based, it functions off the
platform of urban life ie: metropolis, cities, middle to poor classes, mainly due to my experience growing in inner cities,
to reach people from all over, from all walks of life.

As far as government, its evident there are, and were many forms of social oppression, in black liberation theology.. it came against the roots, and functions of rasicm(jim crow laws etc..)...in latin america, it came against the iron fist of dictatorships,(sometimes thru bloody revolutions) to establish democracies.. or socialism in some cases. In my perspective there are ills in all politics, from the control of socialsm, to the deciets and hidden agendas of capitalism, but i have understanding that some walls of oppression are not seen at all, some exist right in our homes, some are mental, most are spiritual.. poverty is not limited to economic value, poverty is not shut in by class, poverty is lack. Many are poor in spirit, and mind, in heart in their own personal value... poor socially, poverty wear many faces.
The ultimate perspective of me forming and developing Urban liberation theology is liberation vs. all oppresions. Liberation from all forms of poverty. Urban liberation theology is universal, because it begins in the mind, and is stirred and awakend by the spirit of a man. The principle of liberation, or to want liberation is natural for us..because we come from the Almighty, and the Almighty is freedom. Selah.-
